Red Bay Acres, Red Bay, AL
Red Bay is the home of Tiffin Motorhomes. We stopped here for two nights (August 15 and 16) on our way to get our new RV (our new home). Red Bay Acres has concrete pads, picnic tables and a nice catch & release pond. They have a restaurant onsite, it was closed for renovations while we were there. Most of the other parks are basically gravel lots with full hook ups (water, power and sewer). This is not a dig on those other places as they are very affordable for those that are here to get their RV serviced. Some of the parks are even self serve.
When we arrived, it was pouring rain. So we waited for the rain to slack up before going to our site and getting settled. While waiting we had a nice chat with our daughter and son-in-law.
We drove around Red Bay getting a feel for the area and checking out the Tiffin Motorhome facilities. We went in a local grocery store, a Piggly Wiggly. We have not been in one in a very long time.
